I wasn’t around on the day she actually had her first trick or treat, so I decided to have her wear her costume again the other day so that I could take a photo of her. And she was really glad to wear that pretty dress again. There were 3 adults trying to entertain her while we had our photo shoot. I guess that makes us 4 including me.
It was fun! Shooting kids is such a challenge. You have to be really quick and full of energy or else your subject will easily get tired and move away.

Engagements

These are some of the engagement shoots I’ve done with Jude, my fiance(you can view his website here at http://misterjude.blogspot.com/. I enjoyed taking photos of these couples. You could really see different kinds of relationships in each one of them. When we shoot for couples. We make sure that the shots we take for each of them are unique and has not been used with our other clients. When we take their photos, we want it to be special for them as well as us. To define who they are as a couple and their love.
I enjoy taking photos of couples before their weddings. You can definitely feel how excited they are and how important their coming “day” is. But believe it or not, Jude and I haven’t had a real picture taken of both of us. I don’t really know why. Maybe we just don;t have the time or we just forget.
Growing Up So Fast

This is my favorite model. My niece Renee Eugenie. As of now she’s 1 and 7 months old. She already knows how to pose for the camera. And insists that she sees her photo right away after I take it. I love this baby girl. Even when she’s cranky, she’s still very cute. She loves to wear dresses. Her favorite dress is her blue dress that has t-shirt like fabric. I enjoyed how happy she looked when me and Jude were off to go to Akit and Mitchi’s wedding. She loved what we wore and kept on touching my dress with that cute cute smile. She is definitely a girly girl.
Oh please don’t grow up too fast baby Eugenie.
In The City
This shoot was for Urban Beachwear. Now known as Dollface Cosmetics. The model here is the owner of the said very successful online shop.
I’m posting old photos. Which means I haven’t had the time to have new photo shoots. I promise I’ll have one this month. My hands are itching to create something. If anyone want to have their portrait taken. I’ll be glad to do it for free! Just YM me at alexa_clare@yahoo.com. Just not outside Cebu. LOL. You can just give me something to eat after.. hahahaha Joke.

Photos for Tsinelas Foundation
Sad Love

A love story between a flower and a leaf.
For those lovers out there who cannot be together. My photo is just a bit negative because it sort of symbolizes the men who go out to war and the women for like eternity, waiting for them to come home and not knowing that their love has been killed. I think it would have been nicer if i had a dropper with me at the time a took this photo so that the flower would look like it had a tear.
Well, anyway. Maybe next time.
Hardwork(weeee my first post. hurrah!)

Inspired by the movie "Ant Bully"
Have you ever watched the movie the ant bully? Then you’ll know what I mean. When I first saw a trailer of that movie. I wasn’t very interested. Then my nephew saw it and keeps on playing it over and over again. And so I was semi forced to watch it. I didn’t realize how much valuable lessons you would learn from it. Not only for small children but for adults as well. I don’t want to nag but shouldn’t we be more like them? Not in terms of how they look. But how hardworking and helpful they are to their colony. As what my fiance Jude said. People only act when something bad happens and then it’s too late.

These are the photos I contributed to the tsinelas foundation. I let my nephew pick the photos I would submit and he obviously chose the photo him holding the top. I took that photo of him with my grandfather’s pentax film camera. He gave it to me for my photography class. I miss him tremendously. I never got to show him any of my photos. Not one.
